We’ve got a treasure (2009) Duet with Tina Romanius
Take this Christmas (2009), Chuck Eaton and friends
I saved a place for you (2018) Chuck Eaton

First things first, his records are not going to be for everyone. But if the love song, easy listening camp is right up your alley, then this is a very good representation of the genre. It is apparent that Eaton’s focus lies in his songwriting; but the ability and versatility of his musicianship should be noted as well. He knows his way around a guitar for sure and does well in song arrangement as well. As a whole, his albums contain well-written songs and well… one might be the soundtrack of any and every love story out there.

Jeff Edwins musical career began back in Pittsburgh, PA where as a young teenager he performed alongside his famous father, Chuck Edwards, and 4 siblings in a family band called, “The Edwards Generation”. After many performances in the Pittsburgh and New York areas, the family signed a recording contract with New York based “Ghetto Records.” Shortly afterwards the family relocated to sunny California. This led to numerous TV appearances on shows including The Mike Douglas Show, Whatchamacallit and Zoom, all nationally syndicated shows. A few years later the band (minus Chuck Edwards and sister Charlene) toured Japan, Switzerland, Norway, Germany and Canada. The 4 brothers, Jeff, Ron, Myron and Les briefly parted ways to explore other musical interests. Jeff and Ron got together and started a new band called “Movin.” A couple of years later Myron and Les both rejoined the brothers and Movin’ was one of the most successful and hardest working bands in the SF Bay Area. After more than 15 years of performing together, Movin’ disbanded. After a few years of performing with other local acts, Jeff decided he wanted to start his own band. As a result, The Edwins Brothers band was formed along with brother Myron. While Jeff still does performances upon request with both Movin’ and The Edwins Brothers, his interest today is focused on his solo career.

Jeff Edwins is a seasoned veteran performer who has shared stages with the likes of Bebe and Cece Winans, George Benson, M.C. Hammer, Con Funk Shun, WAR, Ralph Tresvant (of New Edition), blues legend Kenny Neal, the Intruders and many other artists.

After The Lovin' From Album "Stepping Stone"

More Info    Purchase for $ 9.99

Some say she is the new kid on the Houston Jazz scene, and they're right - but that won't be the case for long. Born in Oklahoma, Traci Stone Cooper spent most of her life in Pearland, Texas, where she fell in love with music and joined the junior high choir. She stayed in choir throughout high school and on into college at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches where she found inspiration among her fellow musicians and teachers.

For 28 years, Traci taught in Texas in the Pasadena Independent School District. During that time, she sang with the Bay Area Chorus, on the praise teams of various local churches, with the Houston Community College Jazz Ensemble, and even had the opportunity to perform in Vienna, Austria.

Traci has now retired from teaching and released her debut album, Stepping Stone, to national and international acclaim. Traci can be heard on many Internet Jazz stations and at select venues in the Houston and surrounding area. One reviewer said that Traci's "warm inviting voice, colored by the depth of her soul, [will] put you in a comfortable state of mind."

Sam Hankins

Sam Hankins

New Album !!!

Sam Hankins had the great fortune to be born into a musical family that would help cultivate his own talent and ambitions. Encouraged by his father, Samuel Hankins Sr., young “Hank”” began with the guitar, then switched to his trademark trumpet in middle school and began playing in churches, professional bands and orchestras. Hankins remembers clearly being one of only 5 African American kids being bussed to the predominantly white Harmony Elementary School in Oklahoma City, which he attended with his younger brother. Music was a safe haven for Hankins who had difficulty concentrating in school and remembers clearly one of the teachers telling him that “he would never amount to anything”. However, he was determined to prove her wrong and went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He then joined the air force jazz band, The Pacesetters, stationed at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois as a trumpeter, where he remained until the Air Force Base closed in 1991.
Hankins then returned to school, earning both a second Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It was while studying for his Masters degree that he found out he was dyslexic after being tested by his college professor.
During his tenure as Band Director at the Edison Middle School in Champaign, Hankins won numerous teaching awards when he led a struggling band program to Division I ratings, State and National awards and recognitions. In 1997, he won the Golden Apple Award recognizing commitment to excellence in education & in 1998 received the White House Letter recognizing the Edison Middle School Band Program, sign by Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Before becoming a solo artist Hankins performed with numerous legendary artists, including Al Jarreau, Clark Terry, The O’Jays, The Temptations, The Dells, The Impressions, Aretha Franklin and the Glenn Miller Big Band.

A prolific composer, Hankins had composed over 150 pieces before he took his wife’s advice and began pursuing the next phase of his diverse career, as a solo recording artist. He laid the groundwork for Nothing Between Us (May 2012) by releasing Dream Catcher (July 2011), a compilation of his catalog of music in every genre from smooth jazz and dance to techno. He released his third CD, Joyous Celebration, a Christmas CD which is a collaboration with David McLorren in November 2015. His latest CD, Do That Thang was released in March 2016.
All 4 CD’s have received lots of radio play in the US & around the world and have won over 25 independent music awards.
Hankins is currently the Band Director at Rich East High School in Park Forest, a Chicago suburb, as well as an Adjunct Music Professor at South Suburban College where he is the Director and Conductor of the Jazz Combo and Jazz Ensemble.
On April 23rd, 2017, Hankins won 9 independent artist awards at the Indie Music Channel Awards (IMC) ceremony in Hollywood. Thousands of independent musicians from all over the world (Australia, Europe, UK, Canada & Nigeria, to name a few) submit their music in the different genres to be judged by music industry professionals (well known producers, managers, radio DJs, songwriters, etc). The list of nominees is released in March and the awards show is held in April in West Hollywood every year. This year it was held at the famous Troubadour, which has seen performers such as Miles Davis, Elton John & Bob Dylan, amongst others.

Miracle Thomas

Miracle Thomas

Miracle Thomas is a vocalist, songwriter and producer whose musical roots began at the incredible early age of three, when she sang publicly with "The Gems of Truth Gospel Choir" in her Lynchburg, Virginia hometown. In her early teens she relocated to Washington, District of Columbia and began to write songs and perform in local talent shows. Miracle's voice is mesmerizing with sensual low tones and incredible high notes. She sings all genres of music; keeping the listener wanting more. She has demonstrated her versatility as a songwriter by writing over 800 songs that include a wide variety of genres as Rhythm and Blues, Pop, Country, Alternative, etc. No, you cannot put her in a box! Through private tutoring and studies in voice and drama, Miracle established a solid foundation for her musical career. She was professionally trained by the late Dr. Napoleon Reed, one of the original cast members in the Broadway Show "Carmen Jones." Since they worked together for 10 years and developed a wonderful relationship, she quite vividly recalls Dr. Reed's inspiring stories of former cast members of color such as Dorothy Dandridge and the obstacles they faced while performing at different venues. She credits him for his strong insight and guidance that continue to keep her keenly aware of the fact that she stands on the shoulders of so many great performers that opened doors and paved the way for her. She concludes, "I am thankful for the ancestors and all those who make it a little easier for me to share my talents." She says, "Dr. Reed's wisdom helped to prepare her mentally as I face the challenges of the competitive music business."

Miracle also receives a great deal of inspiration from powerhouses such as Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, Randy Crawford, The Emotions, Deniece Williams, Earth, Wind and Fire, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Kenny Rogers, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Chuck Mangione, Babyface, BeBe and CeCe Winans, White Snake, opera singers Denyce Graves and Kiri Te Kanawa, the late Whitney Houston, Phyllis Hyman, Luther Vandross, Bob Marley and her mother's schoolmate and friend Carl Anderson. She explains, "Uncle Carl was very protective and advised me to be careful as I pursued my musical goals."
She fondly recalls him saying that she would have to sacrifice a great deal most of the time and be willing to give more than one hundred percent all of the time. As a result of this kind of influence and encouragement, she has won several noteworthy national and international songwriting contests including the Portland Songwriting Contest “Lost In Love" (Pop Category/First Place), Unisong Song Contest “I Am The Girl” (Hip Hop/Placed in the top 10% out of over 4,000 entrants), USA Songwriting Competition “No More” (R&B Category/Finalist), USA Songwriting Competition “Head Over Heels” (R&B Category/First Place), Great American Song Contest “You Take My Breath Away” (R&B/Adult Contemporary Category/First Place), Mid Atlantic Song Contest “You Say You Apologize” (R&B/Adult Contemporary Category/First Place), USA Songwriting Competition ("Undercover Lover” R&B Category/First Place) and “I Want You” (R&B Category/Honorable Mention), Spree IV Song Contest “You Say You Apologize” (R&B Category/Winner) and “I Want You” (R&B Category/Honorable Mention) and Billboard Song Contest “Where Will I Go” (R&B Category/Honorable Mention) and “Summer Breeze” (R&B Category/Honorable Mention).

In 1993, Miracle released her first single on an independent local record label; Goff Records, distributed by Liaison. The song was a remake of the hit Go-Go band Experience Unlimited (E.U.) "Got To Be Wherever You Are". She recorded three versions, a ballad, mid tempo and Go-Go mix featuring rapper James Funk and conga player Freeman Milton aka "Go-Go Mickey" from the Go-Go group Rare Essence; produced by the late Ivan Goff and the late Kent Wood (former members of Experience Unlimited (E.U.)). The song remained on the Top 20 Countdown radio stations: WKYS, WPGC, and WHUR on Kevin James’ syndicated “Slow Jams” (in Washington, D.C.), 92Q (Baltimore, Maryland), and other Urban National radio stations in the Washington, D.C., Richmond, Virginia; Norfolk, Virginia and Power 99 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The song also received tremendous airplay in her hometown Lynchburg, Virginia from WJJS (Madd Ladd, Cisco and Robbie Thomas aka Rocking Robbie). James T. Jones a music review editor from USA Today said, "I was impressed with the ballad version. It has strong background vocals and the song was written well. I look forward to seeing her perform live."

Miracle followed up with another single, "Find Someone New" in 1994. She wrote and produced the song and the late Michael Hughes produced the music and released the song using Liaison as the distributor on Zebra Records. The song did well in the Mid-Atlantic Region. She also sang at the late Marion Barry’s second Inauguration along with the late Godfather of Go Go Chuck Brown in Washington, D.C. Miracle states, “It was an honor singing with the Godfather of Go Go as well as preforming for the late mayor.

Jeff Redd, discoverer of superstar Mary J. Blige was moved to say, "When I listen to Miracle, she reminds me of the past. Her vocal ability reminds me of Aretha!" Carl "Groove" Martin, former producer and singer of the group "Shai" said, "Miracle has a beautiful voice! She will definitely get the notoriety that she deserves."

In 1996, Miracle sang on the Go Go Remix hit rap group Wreckx-n-Effect’s song “Top Billin’”, the song was produced by Gene Griffin. She also recorded a song with Chris Stokes, the manager and producer of the group Immature. Miracle explains, “Chris was in town (Maryland) for two days; Immature was on tour. We recorded a song line by line with the exception of him letting me do my own thing during the chorus. Working with Chris was exciting and challenging. He taught me a few tricks about production.” Miracle recorded a remake “Close To You” with producers Ollen “Tricky Rick” Hopkins and the late Al Johnson from the group The Unifics. I had a good time recording with Uncle Al. He was my music director and he shared his expertise in writing music scores and executing memorable vocal riffs. He will truly be missed!”

Miracle went to Miss Patti LaBelle private rehearsal in her studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Miss Patti and Miracle sang her signature song “Over The Rainbow”. Miracle explains, “When Miss Patti was singing the verse of the song she invited me to sing after the second chorus. It was incredible watching her hit those high notes. Although I could hit the same notes, I didn’t have the power like Miss LaBelle. Hail to the Queen!”

Among her achievements and accolades are: local talent show winner in The Coors Super Talent Showcase; Camp Springs, Maryland; finals held at The Warner Theater in Washington, District of Columbia. She has opened shows for such great artists as R. Kelly, Jodeci, Mary J. Blige, Father MC, Regina Belle, The Manhattans, The Dells, II D Extreme, Kim Waters, the late Gerald Levert and many others. One of her most influential performances occurred when Miracle appeared before an enthusiastic audience of over 30,000 at Baltimore's AFRAM Music Festival. She also sang the National Anthem at a Chicago Bulls Basketball Game, when Michael Jordan was starting to a crowd of over 19,000. She has performed and recorded Whitney Houston's hit song "Miracle" and for the very first time, Video Soul (former BET show with hosts Donnie Simpson and Sherry Carter) showcased her as an artist who, at the time, had not officially recorded.

Miracle was featured in several magazines and newspapers. In November 1993, she was in the Best of Rap and R&B November Issue written by Jill Greenleigh. In May 1994, she was in the that same magazine following up with a song that she wrote and produced called “Find Someone New”. The song featured comedian Chris Thomas who at the time was on headlining the Def Comedy Jam Tour featuring comedians Ricky Harris and Chris Tucker. Th e song “Find Someone New” was featured in the Billboard Magazine. James T. Jones IV from USA Today reviewed the song “Find Someone New”. Sister 2 Sister Magazine featured Miracle in the April 1994 issue and to top things off Devante’ from the group Jodeci said, “Miracle has the purest voice that I’ve ever heard.”

In May and August of 2017, Miracle sang the National Anthem in her hometown at the Hillcats Minor League Baseball Game; five times. Robbie Thomas aka Rocking Robbie a former radio personality from WJJS Radio Station introduced her to the General Manager Ronnie Roberts from the team. Miracle states, “I really enjoy singing especially to a large audience. I don’t care if I am singing the ABC’s. I am going to put my heart and soul into it.”

Miracle took time out of the recording industry to focus on her son “Truck”. He was diagnosed with autism at a very young age and she has committed herself to homeschooling him as well as making sure that he has playdates with his peers. She explains, “I never gave up on my music. I had to give my son so much of me and I refused to allow others to make decisions for him especially when I was capable of being there for him. My son is older and he’s the one that pushed me to get back out there and start performing again. We have a good time traveling and meeting new people. I am going to start singing at more Autism Awareness Events because it is crucial that people understand that a diagnosis of Autism isn’t the end of your life; it does have its challenges but with the right drive and support you can get through it. I cannot give up on my child. If I give up on him I will be giving up on myself.” Miracle continues to develop her unique and highly marketable style. She sings at special events and is in the process of recording a project showcasing her writing abilities and vocal styles.

BRIGHTER DAY This is Dave’s first transatlantic musical collaboration with the wonderful American Soul and RnB songstress MIRACLE THOMAS. The soulful mood is initially set with a voice and piano intro quickly bursting into an infectious 125bpm brass led groove. The simple structure of the song is underpinned by a low pulsating bass line complimented by some rich chords and tasteful rhythm guitar from Dave. On the “Miracle mix” there are some signature guitar licks in the breakdown section. The melodic lyrics are encouraging and the chorus is truly memorable and together with catchy brass riffs and searing string lines, Brighter Day has all the elements required for another uplifting feel good track from Dave.
